Based in the Midlands, approximately one mile from Birmingham City Centre, we provide multi-needle quilting services to customers across the UK.

We can quilt customer-supplied fabrics or help source suitable fabrics, wadding and backing materials from our extensive textile stock. Our flexible approach allows us to work with different fabric constructions, wadding weights, quilting patterns and finished constructions to meet the requirements of individual projects.

Single-Sided & Sandwich Quilting

Our fabric quilting service can produce different constructions depending on your application. Quilting can be carried out as a single-sided quilt or as a sandwich quilt incorporating face fabric, wadding and backing fabric.

For sandwich quilting, the same fabric can be used on both sides, or different materials can be combined to create the required construction. For example, a lining fabric can be used on one side with a face fabric or other outer material on the opposite side.

We can also supply backing materials in a range of constructions, including nylon, polyester, poly/cotton and non-woven synthetic backing. Non-woven synthetic backing can be supplied from approximately 20 gram and upwards, subject to availability and requirements.

Accurate Quilting, Roll Measurement & Quality Control

Quality and accuracy are important when supplying quilted materials for commercial and manufacturing applications. Once quilting is complete, finished fabric rolls are accurately measured, recorded and labelled before dispatch or collection.

We also check finished rolls for missing stitching and repair any identified issues before the material leaves our premises. This helps ensure customers receive clearly identified and properly prepared quilted fabric rolls.

UK-Wide Fabric Collection & Delivery

KBT can arrange the collection and delivery of fabric rolls throughout the UK using our own transport, subject to the size and requirements of the order.

Our location in the Midlands provides convenient access to Birmingham and the wider UK road network, making us well placed to provide a nationwide commission quilting service.

What types of fabric can you quilt?

We can work with a range of fabrics including polyester, waterproof fabrics, nylon, cotton, canvas, denim, PVC vinyl, leatherette, calico and polyester lining fabrics. Suitability depends on the individual fabric and required construction.

What wadding weights are available?

Wadding options include approximately 50, 70, 85, 100, 140, 150, 175 and 200 gram weights. Other weights or constructions may be possible, so please contact us with your requirements.

Can you produce sandwich quilted fabric?

Yes. We can produce sandwich quilt constructions incorporating face fabric, wadding and backing fabric. Different fabrics can be used on each side depending on the required finished construction.

Do you collect and deliver fabric rolls?

We have our own transport and can arrange collection and delivery of fabric rolls nationwide, subject to the requirements of the order.
